R. Kelly isn't trapped in the closet anymore.

The multiple Grammy Award winning R&B superstar, who is still enduring legal woes stemming from the years’ old child pornography charges, continues to strike a chord with his faithful fan base. It was recently announced that his longtime record label, Jive/Zomba, would release his latest song, 'Rise Up,' which is said to be a song of encouragement in memory of the Virginia Tech victims and in condolence to their families.

ATLANTA REGGAE/SOCA MEGA FEST READY TO UNFOLD

Plans are firmly in place for the largest-ever Reggae/Soca Fest to be held in Atlanta. The event, the Georgia Music Fest is by far the largest event of its kind to be hosted in Atlanta. It takes place during the highly popular Memorial Weekend when the Atlanta Carnival is celebrated, amidst concerns that it has also been characterized by a lack of quality entertainment.
